This is most apparent on “Nine Pound Hammer,” “John Hardy” “Ole Slewfoot,” and “Rock Island Line.” The band fares better on a pair of original pieces, “Auction” and “No Room.” While “Hillbilly Bailout” certainly has its disruptions, there may still be enough substance to attract fans of Runaway Freight. The 43rd Annual Telluride Bluegrass is held the weekend closest to the Summer Solstice -- the longest day of the year which begins the Colorado summer. Flecks’ total Grammy count is 9 Grammys won, and 20 nominations. More often than not, they sang the old ballads that had been passed down from mother to daughter for generations. Doyle Lawson received two nominations in the 17th Annual Inspirational Country Music (ICM) Awards held in Nashville on October 28, 2011, with fellow nominees including such country giants as George Strait and Carrie Underwood.
